Frequently Asked Questions

Grace Over Grind

How does the Grace Over Grind Journey work?

Grace Over Grind is a 10-week, 1:1 coaching journey designed to support deep, sustainable change — not quick fixes.

We meet weekly for private sessions where we explore the patterns beneath burnout, pressure, and over-functioning. Through a blend of reflective coaching, experiential work, and The Regulation Lab, we focus on creating grace-sourced shifts in real time — so insight doesn't just stay intellectual, it actually lands in your life.

Some weeks are more inward and restorative; others are more integrative and forward-moving. The pace is intentional, responsive, and build around safety, self-trust, and wholeness.

How do I book with you?

Your first step is to schedule a complimentary Grace Over Grind Discovery Conversation.

This is a no-pressure, exploratory conversation where we’ll talk about what you're navigating, what you're hoping for, and whether Grace Over Grind is the right fit. There's no obligation — just clarity and honest connection.

What is The Regulation Lab?

Throughout Grace Over Grind, we'll work with a simple but powerful framework that helps you recognize when you're operating from calm, pressure, or survival — and what kind of support you actually need in each state.

Instead of relying on discipline or self-criticism, you'll learn how to:

  • notice early signs of overwhelm before you hit survival mode

  • adapt your pace without guilt or self-judgment

  • create weekly rhythms that support your actual capacity

  • return to yourself when stress pulls you off-center, rather than pushing through

This is how the change becomes sustainable — because it's built into how you live. No jargon. No diagrams.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. Flexible payment plans are available and can be discussed during your Discovery Conversation.

My goal is to support real transformation — not create additional stress. We'll explore options together and find an arrangement that honors both the value of the work and your current capacity.

How much is the investment?

Investment details are shared during the Grace Over Grind Discovery Conversation, so you can make a clear, informed decision without pressure or surprises.

This conversation gives us space to take through your goals, where you're feeling stuck, and whether this container is the right support for you at this season.

(Note: The investment is also listed on the Calendly intake form for transparency.)

Do I need to be a Christian to work with you?

No. While many of my clients are Christians, you do not need to be one to work with me.

My coaching is informed by my faith and grounded in Gospel-centered values, but it is not prescriptive or preachy. Cients from a wide range of backgrounds are welcome. You won't receive sermons — you'll receive thoughtful, respectful support, practical tools, and a space that honors your autonomy.

What happens in a typical coaching session?

Sessions are tailored to you and what you need the most that week — there's no rigid curriculum or pressure to "perform."

We slow down, explore what's been coming up in your life, and work with both insight and nervous-system-aware practices to help you move out of survival mode and back into steadiness and self-trust. Some sessions are more reflective and experiential; others focus on integration and practical support through The Regulation Lab, where you learn how to respond to stress and pressure with grace instead of force.

These sessions are supportive, spacious, and honest — designed to help real change take root, not just generate good conversations.

What kind of support is available?

Between sessions, you'll have access to voice support in the app Voxer.

This space is designed for brief reflections, Regulation Lab check-ins, and moments when you want support applying the work in real life. Voice messages allow us to stay connected in a way that's more grounding and embodied than text, while still being spacious and non-urgent.

Voxer is best used for:

  • reflecting on patterns or insights between sessions

  • support integrating session work into daily life

  • gentle course correction when pressure or self-criticism shows up

It is not intended for crisis support, emergency situations, or replacing a full coaching session, but rather as a steady point of connection and reinforcement.

If something feels overwhelming between sessions, you're always encouraged to slow down and use the Regulation Lab tools we're building together. You're welcome to name what's coming up via Voxer, and we'll approach it with care and steadiness. If at any point you feel you need immediate or therapeutic support, I'll always encourage you to seek the care that best serves you.

Voxer support is asynchronous. Responses are typically sent within 24-48 business hours: Monday-Friday between 8am-3pm (CST).

Will we talk about faith in every session?

Not necessarily.

My coaching is rooted in Biblical truth, but I always follow your lead. If faith is central to what you want to explore, we’ll make space for that. If not, that’s completely okay too.

My role is not to steer your beliefs, but to support your growth, discernment, and sense of self in a way that feels safe and aligned for you.

What is Coaching?

What does a coach do?

A coach provides support, perspective, and partnership to help you move forward with clarity and intention.

In Grace Over Grind, coaching isn't about being told what to do or pushed toward outcomes. It's about creating a safe, grounded space where you can slow down, listen to yourself, and uncover what's actually driving your patterns and decisions.

My role is to ask thoughtful questions, offer reflection and guidance, and help you build self-trust — so you can make choices that are aligned, sustainable, and truly yours.

How is coaching different from therapy or counseling?

Therapy and coaching serve different but complementary purposes.

Therapy often focuses on healing the past, treating mental health conditions, and working through trauma or clinical concerns. Coaching is focused on the present and the path forward — helping you understand how you're operating now and supporting intentional change moving ahead.

As a coach, I don't diagnose or treat mental health conditions. Instead, I work with awareness, values, nervous-system-informed practices, and practical integration to help you live with more steadiness, clarity, and agency. We move at a pace that prioritizes safety, consent, and self-trust — not pushing past your capacity or forcing breakthroughs.

If at any point something feels overwhelming or brings up a need for deeper therapeutic support, I'm always supportive of clients seeking that care. You're never expected to "push through" or "handle it" alone.

Can I still get coaching if I'm seeing a therapist?

Absolutely. Coaching can complement therapy very well.

Many clients find that therapy supports healing, insight, and emotional processing, while coaching helps them apply what they're learning to daily life — how they work, rest, make decisions, and relate to themselves under pressure.

If you're in therapy, coaching can offer a forward-facing, integrative layer of support that honors the work you're already doing.

Do you coach in person?

I'm based in Nashville, TN, but all of my coaching is currently offered virtually.

Virtual sessions allow us to work together regardless of location — and often make it easier to integrate the work into your real, everyday life. All you need is a private space and a stable internet connection.
